Yá’át’ééh - Buenos días
Greetings New Mexico Democrats!

I am Brenda Hoskie, a dedicated educator, community leader, and advocate for the Navajo Nation and New Mexico. Born and raised in Springstead, New Mexico, my journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to service and a passion for uplifting others. For 16 years, I taught in Gallup-McKinley County Schools, working closely with students and intellectually disabled Navajo elders to ensure education and care were accessible to all.

In 2023, I was honored to become Chair of the McKinley County Democrats, where I’ve worked tirelessly to unite our community and drive voter engagement. My political experience includes serving as Campaign Manager for Navajo Nation President Dr. Buu Nygren in 2022 and running for the Navajo Nation Council in both 2018 and 2022. As a delegate at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, I proudly represented our Navajo heritage on the national stage.

I believe that by working together, we can create meaningful change for our communities. My candidacy is driven by the values instilled by our grandmothers and aunties—to act boldly and ensure our voices are heard.

Thank you for your support! Let’s make a difference together!
